Carlos Rodriguez
Carlos began training under Grandmaster Kwon, Jae Hwa's federation in 1980 at age 8. Carlos received his 1st Dan at age 15 under Grandmaster Kwon and continued his training throughout his high school and college years.
During his later years of training, Carlos traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and Europe under Kwon's federation. As members of the USA Team under Grandmaster Kwon's Federation, Carlos was undefeated in Sparring.
Carlos & Debbie were married in 1999 and have continued their commitment to TaeKwon-Do through training and teaching for Physical, Mental & Spiritual aspects of life. In addition to their TaeKwon-Do teaching, Carlos and Debbie have four children.
In 2006, Kwon, Jae-Hwa TaeKwon-Do Center of Sunrise was opened, building a strong foundation of students. In 2019, Kwon, Jae-Hwa Taekwondo Center of Sunrise was re-established as "Black Belt Center of Tamarac" and relocated to a larger facility in Tamarac Florida.
