I have been studying tae kwon do since 1979. I've had great teachers--Master Young in North Miami was legendary--but the best teacher of martial arts I have ever seen is Carlos Rodriguez. Both my daughter and I have studied under Carlos's tutelage for nearly ten years. I have great intuition about what each of his students needs to improve, and he runs a terrific program. He is a skilled martial artist--I don't know of anyone who ever beat him in a tournament--and a great all-around person. If you are at all interested in the martial arts, this is the place to go.
My daughter burst through the door!! A new tae kwondo studio was relocating to our neighborhood!!! ...I didn't know it yet, but a passion 20 years dormant had awakened with a ROAR! Master Carlos has a way of captivating students and audience alike. Emphasizing strong mind strong body, mutual respect, setting and achieving individual goals through hard work and commitment...all leading to successful human beings. His parents run after school programs and summer camp. They are the absolute warmest most beautiful souls on the planet. His wife black belt miss Debbie has boot camp on weekends. Mr. Tim is his side kick also a black belt molding minds and teaching the beautiful ancient sport. I cannot express how much of an effect they have had on my family my daughter I just want to say thank you so much for giving me my daughter back
